Wrapping Up 2025

December 18 - 31, 2025
Tombstone, Arizona

The colors of an Arizona Christmas

In our effort to find Christmas, Rebecca and I head to Bisbee. Known as a quaint and quirky small town that caters to both tourists and locals, certainly it will be decked out for the holidays.

Nope.

Maybe at night there are lots of colorful lights and holiday music, but during our afternoon visit a couple days before Christmas, there is almost no look, sound or feel of the holiday. Some shop windows have a couple santas, a bauble or two, winter scenes painted on the glass - that's it. We enjoy lunch at the bistro where there are zero decorations - nothing, nada.

Like any other day.

Aha! A Christmas tree at the little museum.

Even sans the holiday spirit, Bisbee has plenty to catch the eye.

I haven't seen friend Anna in weeks so I'm delighted when she wants to go see Wicked for Good. Definitely one to see on the big screen - beautiful to see and hear. I love it more than the first one. Brilliant ending :-)

The last week of the year we get a couple days of nice soaking female rain.

Our western skies never disappoint.

Without Jeff here or the grands or Tessa, I never do put up the Christmas tree. It's not sad, but home mirrors the general lack of holiday spirit so I'm ready to put away everything the day after Christmas. Bill and I enjoy our traditional honey baked ham and fixings, and some good football games. It's still over 70 degrees outside!

Tastes like Christmas.

The alcohol ink ornaments I forgot to include in the last post. Such a fun and easy project - but very messy!

California gets a few years' worth of rain all at once with extreme winds, and I'm happy that all of the family stay safe with no need to travel. In Grand Rapids Jeff is enjoying cold but dry weather with his friends. He heads back in front of the arctic blast and manages to avoid it all the way home. It's great that he had so much fun, and of course I'm happy to have him home safe after such a long drive.

A white Christmas in Michigan.
Wishing they were here, but delighted to get pics and videos from Ezra and Elliott throughout the day.

Excited to find drones from Santa :-)

Elliott gets Christmas kitty cuddles.

Christmas pics delayed from Virginia as they're also celebrating the purchase of their new home.

Maximus and Mason holiday smiles.

Both Oliver and Henry have birthdays between Christmas and New Years. I'm sure they'll mind when they're older, but for now it just makes for more days of celebrating.

Henry and Cassidy having birthday fun at Bubble Planet - what a cool place!

That's a wrap for 2025. Wishing you all peace and abundance of spirit in the new year.
