This is the story of our two year preparation to become fulltime RV'ers, and our big, new adventure that began on May 31, 2015. It's just the two of us, and the "fluffy dog", off to see this beautiful country with only the seasons as our guide. A winter base in Tombstone, Arizona, adds another layer to our grand adventure in 2019.

Sometimes Just Believing Isn't Enough
Optimistic Home Depot Customer of the Month
I always encourage positive thinking, however this guy was clearly picturing larger trunk space (the tree was back on the cart and headed back to the store as I pulled out).
Too funny! I once fit a five foot Palm Tree in my Honda Fit. People looked at me like I was crazy when I pushed the cart up to my car. Sorry it didn't work out as well for this guy. Lol!
Wonder if he tried putting down the back seat and the passenger seat and fitting it length wise into the car. Although he might have had to prune that top most branch. Given his car and the height of the tree with that one branch, he really was optimistic.
I thought that must be his plan but the width of the pot wouldn't clear the trunk opening at the needed angle.....and it was a really tall tree :-))))))
We thought we'd miss ours a lot more......one good outcome has been no one asking for help moving! If I'd still had it I would have offered to deliver his tree :-))))))

ReplyDeleteWow! That would be something to see :-) I'm always amazed watching people load their Christmas trees!
DeleteYep, done that before LOL
ReplyDeleteClose, I thought I could get three large planks of wood in the back of my old Dodge Colt...nope!

DeleteI'm guessing he probably figured it out!
ReplyDeleteHope so! Certainly he has one friend with a bigger vehicle :-)
DeleteHaha, I have to admit, that looks like something I would do. I'm ALWAYS optimistic (overly so, I guess).
ReplyDeleteMe too! I'd much rather expect the best always :-) It usually turns out that way.
DeleteDefinitely a job for a truck! We'd be lost without ours at times.
